A Guide to Pet Insurance (for cats): Part 3 - Where to Buy
Pet insurance is becoming more and more competitive so don’t be afraid to shop around. If you’re wondering where to start, here are a few companies that offer policies...
Greenbee Pet Insurance
Homebase Pet Insurance
M&S Pet Insurance
Sainsburys Pet Insurance
Those are really just the tip of the iceberg but you can see that everyone's getting in on the act, from supermarkets to DIY stores. Prices vary greatly from £4 for a very basic policy to double figures for more elaborate policies. Don't just look at the price! Policy costs may be very low for a policy that covers just £1000 in vet fees. Ask yourself if that'll be enough if you do need to claim. If you are happy with it, don't forget to check over the rest of the cover and exclusions before signing up. And if you're buying online, don't forget you have a 14 day cooling off period, so have a good look through your policy documents when they arrive and make sure you're happy.
